A New Years Resolution?

I hope by now your 2012 is off to a roaring start. I hope you are on your way to the gym or on your way to register for that class you have been wanting to take. I recently did some research on the most popular New Years Resolutions. The top ten resolutions for 2012 are as follows:
1)Spend more time with friends and family.
2)Fit and fitness.
3)Tame the Bulge.
4)Quit Smoking.
5)Enjoy life more.
6)Stop smoking.
7)Get out of Debt.
8)Learn something new.
9)Help others.
10)Get organized.
What I found to be fascinating from the previous two years,2011 and 2010 was this. The list did not change at all. What did change was the order in which they were listed. For instance take the number one New Year's resolution for 2012"Spend more time with friends and family". The same resolution for 2010 "Spend more time with friends and family" was number nine out of the top ten New Year's resolution. What does this mean to us right now at this moment?
a) We are creatures of habits - good or bad.
b)We like making New Year's resolutions.
c)What is important to us changes from year to year/month to month/week to week/day to day and even minute to minute.
d)We don't like change even if it's positive.
e)Some of us might be a little lazy when it comes to change. We want the reward but are not willing to do the work.
In closing I am not sure if any of these are on your "to do list for 2012"? I just hope and pray that whatever your plans are for this day and beyond that you always believe in yourself. I also hope that whatever it is your working on that you always give your best effort. Remember after encouraging yourself be willing to encourage others. Let us not always ask "what can I get" but"how can I help"?

Thanks. comments are greatly appreciated.

Successful Thinking leads to?

Hello All,
It's me again and I must say it is good to hear from. If you have not graced us with your presence now is a good time to start. I know at times we think we should play it safe and stay in our comfort zone of doing what is familiar so that we can continue to get the same thing over and over and over again. My friends Life doesn't change all that much, but we should. Think about it this way.Look back over the last ten years ,what you have learned new? What have you done to improve your life - I know most people say School, but that doesn't even guarantee you the life you seek ? The bottom line is this. If we do not change or grow we end up experiencing the same thing over and over again for 10 years in a row. If you are getting the results you are looking for by doing these same wonderful things over and over again - HOORAY!! Great Job! You are doing it man! But remember what Albert Einstein said" The height of insanity is to repeat same thing over and again and expect to have a different result. It is actually a term for that called conformity which means:acting according to certain accepted standards/hardened conventionality.
If you have not obtained what you are looking f0r personally or financially you may need to take a look at some other options or you may need to network with some different people. You never know? The opportunity you are looking for may be right in front of you......
The last thing I would like to share with you is a definition of success that I read in a book by Jeffery Combs president of Golden Mastermind Inc. - and I quote"Success is not an accident, success is an action,Success is a journey. Success is an idea. Success is a process, But if you don't ever establish what success is to you, then how do you know what to seek ?
Looking at your life right now you should be able to agree with one of the following positions. Things are the same , better or worse? I pray they are better for you. Have a happy and blessed 2011.

Why Not Me!

What is the meaning of success?
Success can mean a variety of things for a variety of people. It can mean everything from going back to school and getting a degree to being able to start your own business. I heard a motivational speaker say his idea of success was" Attracting the things in life that you want by becoming the person that you needed to be". After hearing him say that I have never looked at success the same way. How often has it been that most us have gone out and done some great things and feel that once we achieve these things the whole world should say "Hail to the King/Queen or look at me now" Aren't you special or perhaps a congratulations is in order. In a perfect world you did do a great job and should be commended for your tenacity and a job well done. But the fact remains that once you achieve one goal or task their is always another one waiting for you.
In looking at success and having had success before how do you feel about subject. The last comment I will make is , Their are NO shortcuts to SUCCESS and it is a never ending process.
How do you feel about the subject of success?
